 DESCRIPTION
Design boutique hotel Domus Balthasar is a baroque building with medieval foundation and 21st century design, situated on the Royal Route, in the heart of the oldest and most romantic part of Prague - Lesser Quarter (Mala Strana), few steps from Charles Bridge,
close to Old Town and also Prague Castle.
Domus Balthasar is nearly of all most popular sights within easy reach on foot or by tram.
Altough is situated in the centre, also in a neighborbood of nicest parks. It is the ideal place for a holiday as well as for an enjoyable business trip.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 until 10:00 in Bohemia Bagel Café. Don’t panic if you are late down – we will wait, after all it is your holiday!
ACCOMMODATION
Hotel has 8 rooms including 2 Double Standard attic rooms, 3 generously spacious DeLuxe Double rooms, 2 Suites with kitchenette and 1 Royal.
All rooms are equipped with a direct dial telephone with answering machine and private number, night table telephone, fax and internet connection point (another fax and e-mail also available at the reception), multipurpose writing desk, connection cable, personal electronic safe, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, TV with satellite reception, hi-fi mini system with CD/DVD and radio.
Luxury bathrooms are equipped with bathtub and shower, hairdryer, bathrobes and WC.
Suites also have ceramic cooking stove, microwave oven and basic cooking equipment.
Double Standard attic rooms have air-conditioning free of charge, in all other rooms there is a ventilator.
All rooms have underfloor heating in the bathrooms.
ROOM DESCRIPTION
Double Standard Room - attic
Attic rooms are at the very top of the building, covering the area of 24 square meters. They are the smallest, creating a place of warm, cosy atmosphere. Gorgeous wooden beam ceiling has at the sides small loft windows, from which housetops of the Lesser Town buildings are seen, mostly in renaissance style with the later baroque-classicistic reconstructions. Location: 4th floor
Double DeLuxe Room
Double De Luxe rooms covering the area of 45 square metres.These are the corner eastern rooms, very bright and sunny with large bathroom, pointing towards Charles Bridge. These rooms enjoy stunning views of Bridge Tower, the part of Charles Bridge and Mostecka street. Moreover one DeLuxe room located on the 3rd floor also have gorgeous wooden beam ceiling.

Suite
Suites covering the area of 45,5 square metres and are exceptional for having small kitchenette in living room separated from bed-sitter by double-wing door. These rooms point nearby buildings and Lazenska street.

Royal
Royal covering the area of 45,5 square metres and it is said to be the most luxurious. It is the largest, quiet and decent space with gorgeous wooden beam ceiling. The room points nearby buildings and Lazenska street. Location: 3rd floor
OTHER INFORMATION
The hotel is situated in a preserved historical house within UNESCO town preserve; due to this fact the house does not have a lift.
Public parking place is available on Malostranske square only a few metres from the hotel.
It costs 1,5 EUR/hour (17 EUR/day).
Our hotel offers ADSL high speed internet connection.
All rooms have free access to the hotel's own network and the internet, either at a desk or from the bed.
Free internet is available on pc in the lobby.
Reception is open from 7 a.m. till midnight. Later arrival must be announced. Please, in case you cannot be here in time, let us know and make sure we will wait untill you arrive.
At the Balthasar the congenial staff are on hand to make sure that your stay is as comfortable and carefree as possible, as well as giving you valuable advice about the many things to do in Prague. The staff at reception will gladly reserve tickets, book restaurants, etc and can also arrange any other services connected to a holiday or business stay.

We arrange pick up at the airport ( 600 CZK) or train station (350 CZK).
All what you have to do to order it, is let us know number of your flight/train and your arrival time but minimal before you board on your plain or train.
Our English speaking driver is also ready to take you back to the airport / train station
(for the same price as pick up) and for trips to any place you want to visit.
Coming by Plane:
From Ruzyne airport take bus nr.119 up to Dejvicka metro station and there take metro line A (green) up to Malostranska station.
If your luggage is not too heavy you can reach the hotel on foot turning right at the traffic light and then straight on up to Malostranske namesti. There take Mostecka, the street leading to Charles Bridge and you will find us at number 5 on the right hand side of the street. Otherwise take tram nr. 22 up to Malostranske namesti, then cross the street in direction of Charles Bridge and take Mostecka; you will find us at number 5.
Coming by Train:
From Nadrazi Holesovice take tram nr. 12 up to Malostranske namesti and then cross the street in direction of Charles Bridge and take Mostecka, the street leading to Charles Bridge and you will find us at number 5 on the right hand side of the street.
From Main Train Station (Hlavni nadrazi) take metro line C (red) in direction Haje up to Muzeum. Just there change metro to line A (green) and go in direction Dejvicka up to Malostranska station.
Coming by Car:
From all directions follow the indications for the centre, Mala Strana district. There follow the indications for the main square: Malostranske namesti. You have to park your car there and then reach the hotel on foot (cross the square and take Mostecka, the street leading to Charles Bridge and you will find us at number 5 on the right hand side of the street.

| Policies |
We beg our guests for understanding, that reservations are considered binding if guaranteed by a credit card number and date of validity. The CC information is certainly kept by us under the strictest confidence. If credit card is not available a 1 night equivalent deposit will be accepted.
If reservation for one room is cancelled later than 48 hours before the confirmed date of arrival,
or if a guest does not arrive at all, we have to charge a cancellation fee equivalent to the price of one night of the accommodation ordered.
If you find it necessary to cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible in advance of the date for which the room was reserved. Being limited by our small capacity which provides a special privacy and comfort of our guests, cancellation policy is for us more imporatnt than in bigger hotels.
